Thanks for checking out our site folks! My name is Cortney, and my husband's name is Jason. Everything you see on this site is handmade by us. I have been sewing since I was 12 years old. My mom had an old Singer sewing machine and I taught myself how to use it. When I was 14, I went to my first hippie festival. I fell in love.. with the atmosphere, the people, and mostly, the awesome one of a kind hippie clothing. I have been sewing and designing my own threads ever since. I met my husband in 2002, and have been married for five years now. We have three awesome, beautiful babies, and I am a stay at home mama. Our goal with this website is to provide people with "wearable artwork". Most folks who buy artwork take it home and hang it on their wall. I want to give you a piece of artwork that you can wear, and show to the world. I have a hard time parting with each and every item, because I put my time and love into every stitch that I sew. It's not about the money.. I love making people smile. I love seeing a girl wear one of my skirts I created. And above all else, I love when someone says.. "Oh my god.. that is incredible!"

Jason has been drawing and painting since birth.. really! He is the most talented artist I have ever known. He draws all of my appliquès freehand and creates all of the artwork you see on this site. When we vend shows, he also does airbrushing tattoos and henna tattoos.

About Blessed Moon Creations

Blessed Moon Creations is a business we started back in 2002. We started vending festivals in our area.. but three babies later, we don't make it to many fests anymore. I started this website a little over two years ago. Ever since, I have sold 75+ creations to folks all over the country. I love what I do, and your support allows me to stay home and raise my beautiful babies!

About the Clothing

All my items are created with you in mind. I double straight stitch everything. I also top stitch every seam to ensure durability. I do not use a serger because, in my opinion, if I were buying a "handmade hippie patchwork item", I would like for it to look like one.. instead of a factory made WalMart like product. All appliques are heat bonded, then stitched all the way around. I am also into comfort. Ask yourself.. "what are the best thing about my favorite pants"? I guarantee you one of your first answers is "that they are comfortable". Comfort is a huge thing to me. I don't want to make Barbie Doll like skirts and dresses that are impossible to wear. My items are made to wear to a festival, and be super comfortable while you are there.

Items are also able to be customized by you. If you see something you really like, but feel that it should have a pocket on it, just ask. I can always add on a pocket or applique on my premade items!
